My abuelita Juanita was instrumental in the development of the core tenets underscoring the foundation of Dr. José Medina: Educational Solutions. My abuelita always said "lo que se dice, se hace." We must be people of our word or we have nothing. This motto serves as the foundation of all we do on our team. Our duty, above all else, is to be critically self-reflective and engage in ongoing and unending anti-bias, anti-racist work as we serve all people.
Many have asked for merchandise representing these foundational tenets, our work targeting linguistic liberation, the love of Spanglish, and that fuels our desire to cause desmadre in the name of equidad and social justice. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to organizations supporting Black, Indigenous, Communities of Color and the LGBTQ+ youth.
